Staff Accountant

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Perform full-cycle accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
- Ensure the accuracy of ledger account entries and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger
- Record bank account activity in the general ledger for multiple bank accounts
- Manage all aspects of fixed asset accounting for several entities, including maintaining subledgers, asset employment, and generating depreciation schedules
- Assist in recording payroll and benefits transactions and reconcile to vendor reporting.
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and grow, and a commitment to being a key member of a high-performing team
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development, commercial construction, property management, or a related field
- Experience with fixed asset accounting is preferred
- Familiarity with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus but not required
